It has a slight rubber feel to it but nothing like the Body Glove cover that I had with my other phone (but you also do not spend $[...] bucks on this one). HOWEVER, the rubber feel is only a coating on it. So you can litteraly scratch it off. This is the reason why I put a 2 star because after a month it is starting to come off.

I like this case a lot, I feel that my phone is protected. The only down side to me is that the visible edges of the case are white. It looks like the case is white plastic with the black 'rubberized' coating sprayed on. And I'm not sure why the square hole in the middle is needed the back?

The first one I received did not fit, the back piece was warped and could not be forced on no matter how hard I tried. Luckily amazon's AMAZING customer service shipped me another one for free and this one fits like a charm Makes my phone look great and gives it that extra added protection it needed. The coating on the outside is good, it is a little thin on the inside but who sees that? Overall definitely a great buy for the price.
